Who is Crystalaid?
We are a trusted technology provider with extensive experience in producing complex electronics designed for the bespoke needs of our industry leading customers.
Our foundation was in supporting medical solutions to combat hearing loss through innovative technologies. Moving assets autonomously is what we do today. Tomorrow we are embarking on aerospace and avionics expansion, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s).
Our products help secure significant contracted revenue for the clients we serve. And as a subsidiary of Grabba Technologies, we have access to decades of end-to-end assembly and turnkey expertise across global scale deployments.
Used in high complexity advanced control systems,, our products withstand the toughest environmental conditions – delivering control, accuracy, and enhanced performance. Our technology is built to handle rugged and harsh operating conditions. Built to deliver the exact outcome for our clients needs, and ultimately for the user operating the system in the field.
BGA (Ball Grid Array)
We develop ball grid array products that are as precise as they are powerful. A smart technology used in solutions requiring an exact, flawless execution. With their fine pitch and high ball count, our products are used in defence applications, and manufactured to Mil Spec. We understand the science behind the art and are specialists in creating bespoke BGA designs.
QFP (Quad Flat Package)
Characterised by its gull wing leads, this surface mount package has a super power to engage a high number of interconnections, and be designed in diverse formats. With optimised processes our QFP capabilities are up to 1,850 loaded chips per hour. Our automated optical inspection process ensures correct placement and solder integrity.
QFN (Quad Flat No Leads)
Quad flat no leads package operates as a connection to the outside world through an electrical connection between integrated circuits and printed circuit boards. With no leads and small package size, QFN products provide for higher density electronic designs.
All of our technicians are recertified every 2 years.
IPC A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies)
IPC J-STD (Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies)
IPC 7711/7721 (Rework, Modification and Repair of Electronic Assemblies)
We take a printed circuit board and add the potential, often with more than 500 components assembled through automation, or painstakingly handcrafted by a soldering technician. Our machines help reduce human error, and automate for mass scale. Our human optimisation of an inherently automated process, means our clients receive the perfect mix of art and science.
